This little pullet is going to be 9 weeks tomorrow. She weighs maybe 1 pound if that. From what I've seen of Orpingtons, they seem to grow fairly fast and are fairly large.

Any idea why she's so small? Is she really a buff Orpington? She's maybe 6 inches tall.

That's a buff orp . .... she appears appropriately feathered for age, so failure to thrive isn't as likely, but bantam orps arent *that* common in retail sources and are generally sold as mixed bantams vs. by individual breed. Hatchery bo are rather small compared to sop orps, do you have other chicks the same age (of any breed) you can show her with?

She looks like a buff Orpington to me. Are you positive of her age? Because that is way small for 9 weeks.
Positive about the age. Store got them in weekly. She came in on a Thursday and were shipped at 1 day old. Shipping was approximately 2-3 days the store said, so at most I may be a day off. It could be tomorrow that she's 9 weeks.
