Ok, it was such a suprise I still don't believe it...Yesterday, I was at the park and a man stopped at my house. I walked home and he was talking to my brother-in-law about an Easter Egger chick. He said that he was feeding his snake and he didn't eat all of his chicks so, he asked me if it was ok with my Mom that I kept her...I asked my Mom and she said ok. So, I have another chicken Yay, me!!

Glad you got the chick. Yes, captive reptiles can be fed small chicks.

Snake will eat anything small enough to fit down their throat. In the wild they have a varied diet; whereas, in captivity they are dependant on what their caregivers bring them. Snakes do get bored if all they are ordered is the same old rat they ate several times already.

It was nice of the man to notice you had chickens and ask if you would want to take in the wee chick. Hope the chick grows into a sweet girl for you.

thats so sad. they are so cute! i would have to feed them frozen mice and not alive animals
