Hi all,
I have an RCom Suro on its way to me, and I'm excited to be able to start hatching eggs!
I'm planning for my first batch to be a dozen or so homegrown duck eggs, but we're going on vacation for a week at the end of March. For anyone who has the Suro, is it "set it and forget it" enough to leave town for a week, and have everything still be okay? Our farm sitter will be here, and could certainly refill a water reservoir or do basic things, but probably nothing complicated-- she doesn't have experience hatching eggs.
If it is possible to leave them, what would be the best week to do it? First, second, third?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!
