I had no idea it would happen so quickly! Is that normal?? at 8 weeks old?? I about died of shock when it happened today!!
I heard a suspiciously crowish sound come from my group of 5 week old cochin chicks.
Last spring I had a cochin frizzle rooster that when he started to practice his crow sounded like someone was killing him. The first time I heard it I went running to the coop to make sure everyone was okay! LOL
My 6 week old RIR's have started to practice. Not nearly as nice sounding as your guy.
Wow, nice little crow! When our little guys start learning they sound like a death rattle.
