I have gotten silverlaced wyandottes from the feed store, they said their chicks come from Hoovers. I have gotten some neat birds from the feed store, with one exception. more than once, and more than one year I got a SLW that ends up with a regular comb and not great lacing.

Both boxes of chicks came just 2 days after hatching.
-Surprise mini cackle had 28 chicken chicks no ducks or turkeys. for about 59+ dollars. (they say 1/4 or more could be roosters. I am okay with that. they are packing peanuts.)
-I got 26 chicks from Meyers for about 74+ dollars, but some were pricey purebreeds, and I picked out the kinds I wanted. +fry pan bargains to lower shipping costs.

Both has spitzenhaubens, and both had sumatras diff colors. Yipee! I did order a BA just to have blue in there, and good thing, also both had polish.

I need more land to get a cackle surprise but it’s on my future wish list! How fun is that, two rockin boxes!

Yes, and GLW and SLW in both boxes. My Feed store hoovers were not good ones. I think I will rehome them as barn yard.

The chicks only took 2 days from hatch to arrive. They were all fat. Nothing dead on arrival. I gave them the grow jell and egg yolk water and feed and regular water off the bat.
