Surprise Box Massacre

Before, I was trying to figure out the breed of 50 different chickens, but then a huge dog got into my property at night and ripped off the wooden lid from the nesting box and killed most of them. So now I (sadly) just need to know what my remaining 7 are

Omg so terrible. I hope you are reinforcing the run and gave the owners crap. I ended up with a chain link run because of a dumb neighbors Husky. Infuriating.

Wow I'm so sorry for your loss!

If you provide what hatchery you got the surprise box from, it will be easier to guess the breeds. Here's a couple of my guesses...

#2 looks like a Marans of some sort
#3 looks like an Easter Egger
#4 not sure about breed but obviously cockerel
#7 looks like a Welsummer

Oh my gosh, that's terrible, I'm so sorry about your chickens! I would give the owners a piece of my mind.
Chick #1 - Golden Comet
Chick #2 - Black Copper Maran
Chick #3 - Game Bantam of somesort
Chick #4 - Welsummer cockerel
Chick #5 - White Leghorn
Chick #6 - Delaware
Chick #7 - Welsummer

So sorry. That is awful. Up here the owners are expected to at least cover the loss and contain their dogs. Otherwise dogs get shot.

GirlsHuntToo's guess on #3 being a game bantam makes sense because it does look like an odd body structure typical of Game Bantams. Cackle does have bantam Easter Eggers so still a possibility.

Thank you! We don't even know the owner, we just caught it on the game cam...so who knows what to do? But my husband said he'll make the coop like Fort Knox now

This one looks like a brown leghorn (white earlobes; welsummers have red earlobes)
