Sorry, chick posting was interrupted by More baby arrivals! Not to be outdone by cute chickens, Elliot J. was born a little after midnight this morning at 8lbs 2oz!

Got home around 3 in the morning and everyone got a little bit of sleep (thank heavens newborns are so sleepy the first 48 hours)! Went and checked on Blue and the babies around 8 and she was up off the nest showing them how to scratch around. Final count is 8 babies and... 2? Unhatched eggs?? Not sure how I miss counted that, I know I started with 12 and 3 weren't fertile. Might have just accidentally misplaced a bad one back into the bunch :/

Momma and babies have been moved back into the hutch and the playpen has been moved and up around it. Will post more pics tomorrow!
