The husband was very apologetic but the wife pretty much laughed the whole thing off including them being at my house for days. She was more about her trip to AZ and her only real comment about them getting out was that they were adding a strand of barbed wire to go with he hot wire where they got out. I guess watching the cow make mince meat of my woven wire fence did not really sink in. Their fences are a joke but hopefully they stay in until the day they meet the butcher. It's over and done and that's the best part. I have had ewes lambing past weeks so I had other things that needed my attention. The last ewe lambed this morning with twins. As I was dipping navels I really only noticed one was a ram lamb. The other one is mystery until tonight. I did not want to disturb too much since they were still wobbling on their feet and trying to find breakfast. These hair sheep are such good mothers but I still hover some.
