Surprise! Neighbors cows came to my house...

Well, that's a real pain about your fencing...so glad, though, that they're off your property...I prayed for you that they'd at least get off your land before the cows jumped ship.

They don't sound like the neighborly type but I'm hoping they come back to fix your fences under your supervision.

I appreciate your support, thank you. It's just one of life's lessons in "meet the neighbors". The husband was very apologetic but the wife pretty much laughed the whole thing off including them being at my house for days. She was more about her trip to AZ and her only real comment about them getting out was that they were adding a strand of barbed wire to go with he hot wire where they got out. I guess watching the cow make mince meat of my woven wire fence did not really sink in. Their fences are a joke but hopefully they stay in until the day they meet the butcher. It's over and done and that's the best part. I have had ewes lambing past weeks so I had other things that needed my attention. The last ewe lambed this morning with twins. As I was dipping navels I really only noticed one was a ram lamb. The other one is mystery until tonight. I did not want to disturb too much since they were still wobbling on their feet and trying to find breakfast. These hair sheep are such good mothers but I still hover some.

So glad that the cows are gone and you can get back to just taking care of your animals. So sorry about the fence it should have been nice of them to offer you some kind of compensation since the people they had taking care of the cows failed so badly. I hope they get a better fence or you just might be having some unwanted guest again.

Heres hoping they don't come back. Your neighbors need to get rid of the fence buster. Once they start that they never stay home.
Talk to your neighbors about the cost of repairs to your fence. Neighbors of ours ended up fixing our fence after their cows tore it down for the second time.

We have a verry evil bull who knows how to unlatch the cow pannels. Every time he gets out he goes crazy like theres someone trying to kill him! We finnaly had it when he riped off our ellectrical pannel!
