I'm a grandpa!!! 1st baby was out around 12-1 pm. No baby pics yet as Hershey is fiercely protecting the nest and I don't want to upset her.

1st baby looks nothing like either parent. Black with a white chest!

Not sure! My Pekins were fridge eggs and Hershey was a rescue so no idea on lineage. Guessing the color is mainly from Hersheys side since she's a brown Muscovy. And thank you!

Just curious, I went to pick up duckling crumbles and they were out. I got All Life Stages duck crumble. Will that be alright for the babies? I didn't want to give the normal feed since it's for adult ducks only and is in big pellet form. It's 22% protein.

Well we're at number 2! Just hatched. Of course, in the middle of a massive thunderstorm! Just went out to check everyone and they're all warm in the main house still in the nest. I got absolutely drenched through though!

That will work it sounds like an All flock which is fine to feed from hatch to end of life and never have to change feeds.
