Over the summer I had a few hens go broody and I could not break them. They were determined to have babies. I gave in and picked up some chicks at Rural King. The newest / youngest there were EE’s marketed Americana a fake spelling of Ameraucauna. I picked 6 differently marked ones. All are quite lovely but Lemon is snow white. She is the most adventurous as well. At 20 weeks I except eggs soon. Oh and she was $2 instead of the fancy $20 other places!

Gorgeous! I paid the $20 from MPC 😂. Lemon is the perfect name, they look like tiny lemons when they are babies!
