Hello!
Today I went out to check some windows in the coop & surprise.. I found a chick under one of my hens! She's in a nesting box & I've fixed it so the chick can't get out, however, there are other adult chickens that can get in. The others are very curious & I have 3 roosters in the pen.
My question is, should I move mama & baby to a safer location? She does have other eggs she's sitting on & I'm not sure if they're fertilized or not. Would moving her stress her out, or should I just keep a good eye on them? I would feel terrible moving just the chick & make her be all alone! ☹
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
