Hey all.
as a newbe a few months ago i posted my coop design. It was less than well received. However i did press on and modified only slightly. Truth is the hens love it. Its a ground floor with a walk up to nests and another walk up to more nests. The chooks roost in a secure pen no longer attached to the coop. The chickens have a good area of the yard separated from the other pets. After some predatory issues we now have 2 buff orpington pullets (penny and pipa), 2 partridge wyandotte hens (wendy an wilma), the last of my originals - the wonderful and brilliant ISA Gertrude and Roger the Australian Brahma dark rooster.
I will need to change things. Penny and Pipa will be way to big for that coop. They are only 5 months old and already as tall as Roger. They will need a larger area to nest.
