Surveillance camera infrared lights. Will they keep my chickens awake at night?

I have a camera that puts off infrared light for night vision, and it does not bother the chickens, though they do have a tarp in front of the pen they sleep in, so technically they could not see it very well. As long as it's not in a place where they are too exposed to it, the chickens should get enough sleep.

Also while we are on this topic, is there any evidence supporting specific wave lengths of light? I know with my plants, I can use a green light and it does not effect my plants (not saying its the same) but has there been any testing done? Maybe only specific colors of light cause issues... a candle mentioned earlier (or any white light) would be releasing all spectrums of color... IR would only be in the IR range... so maybe IR does not effect them at all? Even if it was dialed to 100... Just food for thought and welcome any feedback.

Chickens can see the infrared, visible, and ultraviolet spectrums of light, so infrared would effect them, though we are not sure if only a slight amount would effect them negatively.

I'm glad this thread was revived. I have a camera in our coop, and went ahead and disabled IR and snapshot. Maybe it doesn't bother them, but I don't want to chance it. They're hormonal enough already!
