I think this is a great and timely topic. With unpredictable weather cycles, using all of what we have is becoming more important. I would like to see an organic, upcycled version of chicken feed.

Yes, regardless of your feelings on climate change, I think most everyone can agree that wasting resources is a bad thing.

Organic would be tricky, since all the inputs would need to be organic...but, if you get a brewery making organic beer, a place producing organic meat and veggies...it’d be possible for sure.

This. The tricky part is counting all of the resources. Shipping, for example.... count shipping from where the upscaled feed is made, too. That could be just as much a "long distance" as the conventional feed.

Yes, certainly should be a consideration - for example importing organic meat from overseas isn’t very green/sustainable.

In theory, waste streams are near population centers, where soy and corn fields aren’t - so there’s an opportunity to shorten the journey...but it’s obviously not guaranteed.
