Survival in the Arctic. An Arctic wolf RP. ~* Players needed *~

Quote: "Oh I know. Nasty, slimy, gross, scaly fish. And then to get those nasty things, you have to stick your head in frozen ice water!" Mari shuddered, but she smiled. She licked her frozen paws, and shook the tiny icicles from her fur.

"I can't either.  Prey is so hard to find." Mari said as she ripped another half frozen piece of meat off the bull.

Emory scanned the territory.  Something in his mind was bothering him.

Aki laid down, staring up at the stars. A cold wind ripped across the open land, the blizzards was moving across the island, engulfing it. Aki shivered. "Looks like a bad storm."

Skyuka's fur ruffled in the wind. "What's wrong?" She asked her mate

Mari chewed her meat, then laid down next to her mate, sharing her warmth. "Sure does." Onyx growled. "I hate blizzards!" He complained. Birch laid down away from the rest, her head on her paws, eyes closed, trying to stay warm.

"I don't know." Emory said, his voice low. Almost menacing. "It's probably nothing, but be ready." He added, his muscles tense.
Snow and Kona slipped through the trees, and padded up to Nighta. "Icepack is getting quiet. Makes me want to check up on them." She snarled, her lips curled into a smile. Kona laughed. "Can't wait to see their faces. Um, if it's alright with you. Um, an ambush." He bowed his head infront of the alpha.

Aki nudged Mari, then nodded to Birch. He shoved himself up onto his feet, then padded over to her, he didn't say a word, just laid down beside her.

Skyuka stared into the distance, nothing but miles of open tundra, and then forest in the distance. But as the wind kicked up, it spread a sheet of white snow, hiding the forest from view. A shiver ran up her spine. She nodded.

Nighta's lips curled into an evil smile. "Lets go." He said, shoving past Kona. He set a sprint towards the pass, on the forested side of the lake.

Mari did the same, and laid her head on her paws, watching her alphas. Birch tensed, her ears flicked back. She was uncomfortable with this, but welcomed the warmth. "Thanks." She whispered.

Emory stood, his stance set wide apart. He scented the air, then looked at his mate. He smiled reassuringly, then resumed his watch,

Snow pelted behind him, her blue/green eyes aglow. Kona slipped along behind her, his ears swiveling to catch every sound.
