Aki leapt up the side of a hill, trudging through belly deep snow. He noticed the pack bunched around an old bull elk. He smiled and threw his head back, howling to the pack.

Sky looked up and saw Aki's silhouette. She howled back, a call for all the pack that there was a fresh kill to be had.

Aki bounded down the hill side, leaping over the snow. He looked around. "Mari isn't here?" He asked.
"No," sky said, unconcerned. "We haven't seen her today."

Angel watch kilo who was kicked out staring at her.

Kilo surged forward, jaws snapping together, his fur bristled up and lips curled high to reveal his large curved fangs. His huge body barreled towards Angel, intent on the kill.

Kilo ignored her, he wasn't gonna listen. Angel was here unprotected. It was his chance to get back at Nighta

Angel just backed away and sprinted back to her den.

Kilo snarled. "Nothing to do with Nighta! Thats his mate, she has everything to do with Nighta!" He growled and raced into the rocky scape

Mari slammed into the frozen ice again, a splitting crack resounding through the trees. She dove in, her muzzle surrounded in freezing cold water. Her jaws snapped around another wriggling fish, and she pulled her head out just in time to hear Sky and Aki's howls. "Meat..." She drooled, grabbing her fishes, and bolted to them.
