Brier stopped, looking down at the pup "Shh, little one" She glanced once more to where the mother had gone, then picked up the pup to take her back to the others. She returned to where she had left Arrow and the others at, then curled up around the pup, waiting for them to return. She howled for the pack, listening for a reply.
