[Silver Bantam]

Niko looked through the meadow. Nothing. He ventured past it. He came to a river. He looked. A bear. He smercked. He stalked it along the waters edge. He got about 15 ft away. He jumped on its back. It threw him of but he jumped back on. It grabbed him and slung him he went back and it slashed at his face. Blood came from his nose. He reached for the neck. He got it and bit hard. Harder than he had ever but anything before. The bear tried to fight him off but Niko didnt budge. It fell dead. It fell on Niko. Niko released his grip and crawled out from under the bear.

Silver finished drinking. She looked up, water dripping from her muzzle

Niko howled to Silver to come and eat.

Silver looked to where the howl came from, and started loping in that direction

Niko waited for Silver. He smelled the bear. A male. He said to himself.

"Yeah." Niko said happily. He wagged his tail and went over to Silver. "I like you." He said.
