Dixie looked at him with eyes wide with, not fright but excitement. "Mystery... I think the pups are coming!" she gasped. Her eyes wandered to a dainty, gold and white form that had moved to the entrance of the den... Saffron.Mystery had just been visiting with Saffron as what had been discussed as his last needed visit since the fight with Teal. Coming out of the medical dog's den, he noticed Dixie looking around, most likely for him. His eyes moved momentarily to her belly. The thought of the pups, which would be coming soon by the looks of his mate, still made him feel anxious, though as he looked back to Dixie herself, he felt comforted in the knowledge that she would always be there to help him through his insecurities. He smiled, trotting over to her.
"Hello, beautiful," he said in his most charming voice, giving her a gentle nudge on the cheek. "Did you need something?"
Quote: "Well, I want one named Josefina!" Ella said firmly.
Taz's dizziness faded away slowly, and he chuckled. "I like that name, Josefina."
Ella nodded with a smile. "I was hoping you would; I've always loved that name," she said.
He reached over, grooming her neck gently.
Ella laughed, then got to her feet and headed for the door. "I feel like going for another swim. How 'bout you?" she said.
Taz nodded eagerly. Then his eyes filled with worry. "Be careful," he ordered, looking at her swollen belly. His emotions quickly changed from worry to happiness and joy. "Let's go!" he added brightly.
Ella nodded and loped gingerly along the way, towards the pond.
The dark figure of Taz stopped for a second, then followed slowly. He could scent humans somewhere in the distance, but didn't want to worry Ella, so he didn't say anything.
(Laughing so hard right now...)((Now we get to see how Mystery does under pressure.))![]()
Mystery's eyes widened--and it was in something like fright, unlike Dixie. His mind raced and his heart was pounding in his chest. "Arriving? N-Now?" he asked, clearly setting into a panic.
He looked to Saffron as the medical dog arrived, unable to process her words. "Saffron--Pups---Arriving!" he gasped.

Ella plunged into the water, her paws immediately working quickly to churn the water and propel her forwards in it. "C'mon, Taz!" she yipped, before diving under and swimming below the surface.

Dixie put a paw on his shoulders and calmed him with a gentle shushing sound. "Hey, now!" she mock-scolded. "Isn't it the male that comforts the female when she's having her pups? This is all backwards, Mister!" she joked, clearly quite calm.
Saffron looked at Mystery with a calm, yet smiling gaze. "Ah, new life... Always a good thing, welcomed in Chroma Pack." she said. She had assembled a bag of herbs and now pushed it over to Mystery. "Lamb's Ear for strength, Borage leaves for better milk, and some Chamomile to calm her down if she starts panicing like you," she said, her eyes laughing as she said the last part of the sentence, clearly joking.
