(Oh, whatever! XD)

Jargo laid down in the den and thought of how free he felt in the Loner Lands... Like, he felt safe and free from all responsibility. And then he considered moving on with his life, raising a family in the Loner Lands, and living a more peaceful way. And, the pack was Tarro's, now, so he was free to do so. But should he? He sighed and laid his head down on the ground.
(LOL! XD)

Harli stirred in her rest, awoken by voices on the wind. They faded away, and she put her head down again. As each second went by, her desire to hunt grew. Standing up, she scented the wind. To her amazement, it was full of the scent of prey. Her mouth watered. She turned to the den, "I'll be back. K?" she called, her voice soft. She wasn't angry anymore, but instead she felt free. Free to do whatever she wanted without having a pack on her shoulders. She waited a second longer for a reply, eager to go out into the territory.

Quote: Jargo heard her voice and his eyes opened in shock as he heard it. They slowly narrowed to slits as he remembered their fight, and he lowered his head again. His upper lip trembled slightly with anger and the tips of his white-yellow fangs appeared briefly before being covered once more by his jowls. Finally, he replied.

"Fine."

His voice was full of anger and hatred, he once more lay still, eyes burning with rage, though he still loved her with all his soul and wished with all his heart that she would be a loyal mate.

Raven and Jade both yelped their agreements in unison and wagged their little tails as fast as they could. Before Jiyaken could give permission, Raven made a bolt for the den threshold, as f Jiyaken's question gave her the permission to leave it. Jade started to follow, but didn't know if he should, so he just looked up at the older dog with eyes that asked permission.

Dixie spotted the hunters with the steaks at about the same time as Mystery and she loped after him, drooling and staring at the steaks hungrily. "Oh, those look SO GOOD!" she exclaimed. Trotting alongside Mystery, she waited for him to ask for the steaks.

((Hello... ))

Minty flew out the door behind Raven excitedly, looking around with wide green eyes as she did. Jiyaken was not far behind, only hesitating to nod to Jade. He paused just outside the den and looked around, his eyes falling on Mint and Raven. "Don' yeh go far now!" he barked, keeping a close watch on the two young she-dogs.

After receiving the steaks from the scavenger dogs and having eaten his breakfast, Mystery felt satisfied enough to return to the patrol. Sitting by Dixie, he sat back and sighed, kicking away the bone that remained from the steak. "Ready?" he asked, motioning toward Scarlet, who was waiting patiently by the opening in the junkyard fence for her patrol group to regather.

((Hope you don't mind me moving things along with Mystery and Dixie. ;) ))

(Aaaand, I will be right back in about 10-20 minutes. In the time being, enjoy this hilarious vid. Cloudkit's First Soda ---------------> (No blood in this!)

Harli stiffened when she heard his tone, but pushed it aside and wheeled into the grasses. She trotted through them like a dog full of happiness; her paws lifted high in her prance, her ears flopped with her bouncy gait, her tail high in the air, her eyes sparkling. She froze though, when the sound of rustling in the grass reached her bouncing ears. A raccoon. Licking her chops, she slunk along the ground towards it. Raccoons were hard to catch, as they put up quite a fight, and they weren't as good tasting as a rabbit, but she was up for some action.
Harli soon was trotting back to the den, her prize hanging from her jowls. She had long cuts on her skin, one deep, but the smile on her face washed out all the pain she might be feeling. She entered the area Jargo had marked, and poked her head in the den. She was silent, as not to disturb him, and set the raccoon down on the ground. Still smiling, she headed back out to her spot on the outskirts of the marked line.

Quote: By now, Raven was already close to three feet from the den. She skidded to a halt when she heard Jiyaken's voice and looked back at him. "I won' go far, Unka Jiy'ken!" she called, then turned around and headed back. Jade poked around a small hole in the dirt.

Dixie nodded, rising to her feet with a long, happy sigh. She looked to him and took the lead, heading back in the direction of Scarlet's post.

(No, not at all!)

Quote: Jargo's nose twitched slightly, but not at the scent of the dead raccoon, but at Harli's scent. He opened his maw to say something, but she had already left the den. With a sigh, he rose to his feet and walked over to the dead coon. Sniffing it all over before finally sinking his fangs into it's pelt, he thought of her. Her scent was riddled on the animal's body. Finally, he felt blood and flesh and tore more vigorously. Then he began to eat; at last, the taste of blood filled his mouth!

Harli sat down, a warm smile on her face. She heard Jargo moving around in the den, and guessed he was eating the coon. Her ears dropped in submission, but her eyes still sparkled, "Jargo... it's so pretty out tonight. Wanna look at the stars?" she asked softly, not daring to raise her voice much higher than a whisper.

(Hope you don't mind that I'm RPing like it is at night, since you have other posts going that are during the day....)

Jiyaken smiled to Raven gratefully, trotting down the junk pile to ground level and sitting there in the shade. Minty, meanwhile, eyed Jade curiously for a while, wondering what he was doing. Her attention soon moved to Raven, though, and a mischievous look took over her face. "Psst," she uttered to her sister, looking toward Jiyaken to make sure he wasn't looking their way.

Mystery followed Dixie until they reached where Scarlet stood, and he nodded his head to the patrol Leader. Mantis was not far behind them, and it was expected that Russet would come along soon enough.

"Is everyone ready?" asked Scarlet, looking to each of the nearby members of her patrol. Mystery and Mantis both nodded confidently. "We're heading north as soon as Russ gets here, then," she finished.

(Hannah, you still there? I have to go right now.
