Harli whined, licking his cheek. "I'm sorry." she murmured, before looking away and drooping her ears in submission.

Jargo didn't protest or deny it. He wanted to just enjoy the moment. He laid down with a sigh and looked at her. About to ask her something, he shook his head. No, she'd never want it. No more pups; he just somehow figured she wouldn't want to have to deal with the sadness of more pups.

Jargo didn't protest or deny it. He wanted to just enjoy the moment. He laid down with a sigh and looked at her. About to ask her something, he shook his head. No, she'd never want it. No more pups; he just somehow figured she wouldn't want to have to deal with the sadness of more pups.

Jargo's heart nearly skipped a beat when he heard her speak, for it was the same way she'd spoken when she'd last asked for... Pups... His heart leaped and his tail twitched ever-so-slightly. "Yes, Harli?" he asked quietly.

(Yeah, it is! ^.^ Hey, didn't Harli ask for pups last time? 'Cause if she didn't, that's gonna ruin the whole post! DX)

Jargo's heart beat faster. This, this whole behavior, was how she'd acted when she'd asked for pups! He wagged his tail fully now, and he finished her sentence for her in a joyous sentence. "Pups? Y-you mean, m-more pups? A family here in this carefree land? Harli!" he yelped in joy. A few fireflies speckled the navy blue sky and the moon's pale, silver light shone down on both dogs' pelts.

(Well, y'know how Jargo already knows what she's going to ask? Well, I want it to be where she asked for pups when they had Tarro, Ebony and Ginger, but I am really not sure if she asked or he.)

Harli's eyes grew wide as he spoke, but after he finished she let out a long sigh and closed her eyes. "Uh huh." she laughed softly, wagging her tail gently. "Do.. you? Can we?"

(Oh it was her that asked. Does that ruin it?)
