Quote: Jargo smiled a bit. "I'm sorry, too... I started it," he mumbled back, returning the lick.

(D'awwwww! ^_^)
Harli only smiled, nosing his ear gently. "I encouraged it though.." she murmured.

(^.^ Awh!)
Jargo didn't protest or deny it. He wanted to just enjoy the moment. He laid down with a sigh and looked at her. About to ask her something, he shook his head. No, she'd never want it. No more pups; he just somehow figured she wouldn't want to have to deal with the sadness of more pups.

(Hee, and they both want the same thing! <3)
Harli fought the urge to ask, but soon she found herself speaking. "Jargo," she began, instantly snapping her mouth closed.

(But they're both afraid to ask! It's so cute!)
Jargo's heart nearly skipped a beat when he heard her speak, for it was the same way she'd spoken when she'd last asked for... Pups... His heart leaped and his tail twitched ever-so-slightly. "Yes, Harli?" he asked quietly.

(Yeah, it is! ^.^ Hey, didn't Harli ask for pups last time? 'Cause if she didn't, that's gonna ruin the whole post! DX)
Harli's cheeks turned bright red, her ears drooped low in embarrassment. "U-um.."

(What do you mean?)
Jargo's heart beat faster. This, this whole behavior, was how she'd acted when she'd asked for pups! He wagged his tail fully now, and he finished her sentence for her in a joyous sentence. "Pups? Y-you mean, m-more pups? A family here in this carefree land? Harli!" he yelped in joy. A few fireflies speckled the navy blue sky and the moon's pale, silver light shone down on both dogs' pelts.

(Well, y'know how Jargo already knows what she's going to ask? Well, I want it to be where she asked for pups when they had Tarro, Ebony and Ginger, but I am really not sure if she asked or he.)
Harli's eyes grew wide as he spoke, but after he finished she let out a long sigh and closed her eyes. "Uh huh." she laughed softly, wagging her tail gently. "Do.. you? Can we?"

(Oh it was her that asked. Does that ruin it?)
Jargo nosed her gently on the cheek, then gave her a gentle lick on the cheek. "Yes. I'd love to." he said softly.

(No, it PERFECTS IT!)

Jargo got to a standing position and wagged his tail as well. "Yes," he replied happily. "I wanted to ask you for a while; I just... was to scared..." he added, sounding sheepish.

(You know, now that you've made me curious, you're gonna have to show it to me. XD)

Harli looked at the ground, chuckling. "Me too." she admitted. Then her head flew up and she looked excited. "Jargo, they won't have to worry about anything, will they?!" she cried. "A-and we can raise them to be normal pups! A-and-" she cut herself off, tackling him to the ground in a burst of joy.

(I would if I could but I cant so I shant.)

"And we could be... Normal, too?" Jargo finished hopefully. It was true that his short, carefree days in the Loner Lands had been wonderful to him.

Jargo sighed happily and laid his head down in the soft grass. He couldn't believe it; he was normal. And surely if he went back to being a Pack Leader, he would revert back into his own ways... But as a Loner, he was happy.

Harli rolled over ont her back, staring up at the sky. It was dark blue, but there many streaks of light as it was just dawn.

(Man, my computer HATES those stacked posts. Let's not keep quoting the posts and see if that helps, K?)

Jargo looked up at it with her, and a small smile cracked on his maw. "It's... Beautiful." he finally said.
