Ella nodded and smiled. "Yes, I like that!" she said happily.

Smiling, Taz brushed his cheek across hers, his heart glowing with happiness. He had never thought that his life would take this path.

(Omg, so earlier today I was really bored, and this thought floated over in my mind: I know about 6-7 people named Kyle. o.0 Weird, huh?)
Ella smiled at him and said, "So, we have a family now..."

"Yes," he replied, nuzzling her gently.

Taz's eyes slowly opened. He sat up, and yawned. "Morning..." he muttered sleepily, and pressed his muzzle to her cheek.

Saffron was now finished with the Alpha's wounds and stood up at her full height, relaxed and at ease, yet respectful of her Alpha, all the same. "There. Those shouldn't need to be redressed at all, considering they're just minor wounds." she said, offering a smile. Then she turned to Wren. Her face drooped a bit and she added, "Oh, what am I gonna do with her? She's clearly quite a strange dog!"

Celeste had reached Saffron's den and was panting. "Alpha Cerise, there is a newcomer in our pack," he said between gasps.

Cerise looked to Celeste with some alarm, though relaxed at his words. Her first inclination was to tell him that she already knew--she was sitting in the den with the newcomer, after all! But then it occurred to her that Celeste was probably not talking about Wren. Ah, the duties of Alpha are never done... She turned to Saffron and offered her a grateful smile. "Thank you, Saffron, for everything," she said, referring to both the bandaging of Cerise's wounds and the advise she had given on Cerise's choices for Beta. Then, she raised a brow at Wren. "...And best of luck," she added, watching the woozy she-dog pace back and forth.

Her warm gaze moved to Celeste, nodding gently toward him. "Take me to this newcomer, " she said, getting to her paws and starting out of the den.

Wren, meanwhile, paced back and forth for a while before it became clear that she was not going to find an alternate escape route. Feeling woozy, tired, and quite hungry, she sat with a sigh and shook her head in a futile attempt at clearing it of its dizziness. When that didn't work, she frowned, and looked toward Saffron almost curiously. She blinked her golden eyes at Saffron and shifted her paws timidly, clearly wanting to say something but acting as if she didn't expect any hospitality from the medical dog.

Meanwhile, Coal was waiting with Flora at the base of the junkpile. When he saw Celeste approach, he got to his feet and wagged his tail in greeting. Flora stared straight ahead and said nothing.
