(No, that's okay. I will be gone here soon since we're going to the pool (YESSSS! XD) but I can RP when I'm back. Which will be around nine PM.)

Saffron entered the den and stood aside to allow Cerise to enter after her. Then she began gathering a few plants to treat the wounds with. The sliced pad wouldn't be hard to treat, but the broken nails wouldn't be good!

(No, that's fine! :) I'm fine with it.)

Cerise watched with interest, sitting down to relieve her sore paws. Such knowledge and dedication a medical dog needed! She had never tried that field in her youth, though she had tried about everything else. It was completely foreign to her, the sorting of the leaves, each of which seemed so similar to the next. How Saffron kept it straight in her head, Cerise would never know. She was impressed.

More pressing on her mind, though, was the task of choosing a fitting Beta. She sat back, looking into space briefly as she thought. Several good candidates flowed through her mind, each with their own strengths and flaws. She signed lightly. "Saffron?" she began, looking back toward the medical dog. "May I ask your opinion on something?"

((Have fun! :D I'll see if I can be around at that time, though I may have gone to bed by then (that's 10:00 pm for me).))

(Well, I'm back! Can you RP?

Cerise hesitated, wincing a bit as the medical dog went to work on the Alpha's wounded paws. "Well, I need to choose a Beta, but I'm not sure who would be best." She supposed she was only uncertain like this because of how her past two Betas turned out, though she didn't say that. "Any recommendations?" she asked at last, managing a smile.

((Yes! :D Were you still going to make the Beta for Chroma pack?))

Coal had become more acquainted with the she-dog, Flora, and knew that he couldn't hide her in Chroma Pack. He decided to take her to Cerise; surely the she-dog wouldn't turn down the blind young dog. But it was starting to look bad for the dog, anyhow. She was clearly running from someone... Or something, at least. She kept asking if they were coming, when Coal had no idea at all who "they" were.

Sighing, he got his paws and trotted up to her. "You... Cant stay here unless I get the Alpha's permission..." he began, sounding almost sad.

Flora did not look at him, as she had no reason to, being blind. Instead, she stared straight ahead, her eyes fixated on the wall, and replied. "Your... Alpha? What is that?" she said.

Coal cleared his throat and said, "Actually, it's a she, and her name is Cerise. She leads us, commands us, you know, basically is like a president for humans, only she's an Alpha for dogs."

Flora nodded. "I see," she replied, getting to her feet and cautiously groping her way to him.

Her reply made Coal chuckled, considering she couldn't actually see, but she could mentally see. He led her out of the den and a few moments later they were outside. She was clearly intrigued by the birds singing and the fresh air.

A few more moments and they were halfway to Cerise's den. A digger, a blue eyed border collie named Celeste, was sent ahead to find the Alpha when she was not at the den.
