Saffron felt stretched. The she-dog had never in her life encountered so strange a dog as Wren. And what friends was she calling? Feeling a bit dazed by all that was happening, she said, "I am sorry, Alpha Cerise, I haven't the slightest idea, yet! She says her name is Wren; that's all I know, aside from the fact that she appears to have been raised around birds."
Looking down at Cerise's injured paws, she added, "I can help you with those cuts."

Jargo growled a bit at Smoke as he walked by, but said nothing more as he picked up another pup, a girl. "Daddy, I don' wanna bath! I don' wanna bath!" she protested, to no avail. Jargo chuckled a happy, rumbling chuckle like a big cat's pur and plopped the pup down in his lap before bathing her. She was pure white with patches of red, her mother's exect shade. Her eyes were silvery-grey and she was built much like Jargo.

Harli smiled happily, watching as Daphne leaped at Smoke's pup. His pup squealed, growling and puffing up her silky gray fur. Daphne snarled, tackling her to the ground.

Harli sighed. "I think they could go outside now... what do you think?" she asked Jargo, ignoring Smoke.
"I think they could," Jargo agreed calmly, watching the pup he'd just bathed play.

Harli nodded, smiling. "Kids," she began. All the pups turned to her. They knew this tone of voice went something exciting. Harli chuckled. "Would you like to go outside today?" she asked. The den erupted in squeaks and squeals of excitement. "Yes mama!" "Yeah!" "Uh huh!" The happy voices were saying. Harli looked to Jargo."Ready?" she laughed.

And I have plans. 
Mind if we time skip right after we finish with Saffron and Cerise? I'd like to go to 4 months old or so with the pups if that's okay with you? ))

Saffron entered the den and stood aside to allow Cerise to enter after her. Then she began gathering a few plants to treat the wounds with. The sliced pad wouldn't be hard to treat, but the broken nails wouldn't be good!
