((Nah, I think he's good there.

Since he doesn't really stay around the pack much, he wouldn't make much of a good Beta, sentry, or hunter anyway.))
(K. :)

(I need everyone who has characters in this RP to post their forms here so that I can add them to the character page. I have to go now, but I'll be back soon.)

((iluvorpingtons, try clicking 'search this thread' and putting in "Name: Stella" or "Name: Callisto". They should be among the first to show up. :) That's how I found mine.))

Swampson had been wandering since the day that he and Endigo were separated, fighting dogs of the Jargoan pack. Endigo was Swampson's only hope of finding his daughter, and now that he was gone, Swampson wasn't sure he was going to make it far.

He was wavering, wandering about the territories, unsure of where he had been or if he was even making any headway. His achy old joints and constant limp made it difficult for him to hunt, and scraps of food were few and far between. He had lost a considerable amount of weight since his days as office dog at the pound. Maybe this was it... Maybe he was a goner...

He collapsed where he stood, a grassy patch between groves of trees. His vision blurred, and then faded, though he heard someone speaking nearby.

"Taj, help!"

"Whoa, that old dude doesn't look too good..."

And then there was nothing.

Some time later, Swampson awoke to the dripping of water onto stone. He groaned, his eyes cracking open just slightly. "Wh... where..?"

"Hey, old dude!" came the voice of a dog nearby. Swampson suddenly jumped awake, his eyes flying open and his head shooting up to look around. He was in a cave, only occupied by one other dog.

"Whoa, settle down, man. It's all good," the dog said with a smile on his strangely blotchy-patterned face. "I'm Taj, man. You missed Fay."

"T... Taj?" Of all the things, Swampson had been rescued by a dog named Taj... He rolled his eyes. "Well, Taj, I need t'a get outta here. In case ya hadn't noticed, I'm busy."

"Hate to say it, old dude, but you looked an awful lot like you were zonked out," Taj replied with a wink. Swampson's ears fell back in disgust.

Pawsteps at the mouth of the cave distracted the both of them, though. A darkly-colored she-dog with a smoky-gray face had just entered, dropping what appeared to be a squirrel at her feet. "He's up?"

Nah, thought Swampson sarcastically, I'm just sleep walkin'.

"Yeah. The old bro just hopped to it," Taj replied with a smile, looking fondly toward the dog. "Hey, old dude, this is Fay," he added, turning to Swampson.

"I'm not 'old dude', ya dope! Th' name's Swampson," Swampson snapped to Taj, though it appeared Taj had ignored him, his attention on the she-dog.

"And my name's not Fay, Taj. I've told you time and time again, I much prefer Faith." She shook her head at Taj, turning her attention to Swampson. "Nice to meet you, Swampson. You woke up just in time. Hungry?" And she pushed the squirrel toward Swampson with one paw.

Swampson shrugged. Why not? And he set into his meal, though he kept his dignity while eating.

Some time later, Swampson was on his feet, his stomach full of his meal, and looking around outside of the cave for any signs of where he was.

"This was the territory of our pack," Faith said from behind him, surprising him a little. "Me and Taj, we're about the only ones left." She paused at his side, then looked out of the cave toward the koi pond. "But I'm sure you don't care."

"Yer right," Swampson grumbled, though he looked to Faith with a frown. She was hardly affected by his gruffness. Swampson respected that. "I, uh... I'm looking for my daughter."

Faith looked toward him curiously, offering a small smile as she listened.

"Her name is Sonya. She's part of this pack... Oh, I don't remember what it's called! It's run by some... some... some Edwardo fellow or something." Swampson shook his head. Darn his faulty memory!

Faith shook her head slightly. "Well, I'm not sure who they are, but Taj and I could help you find them. I'm sure Taj wouldn't mind." She looked toward the koi pond again. "There's no reason for us to stay here, anyway..."

Swampson raised a brow, following her gaze and then looking back toward her. "Yeah, okay," he said, though he wasn't sure he liked the idea of traveling companions.

The very next day, the three dogs set off to find Swampson's daughter and the pack she belonged to.

((I put it in a spoiler so this giant huge post wouldn't stretch out the board too much. ;) ))

Sonya had been in deep thought about quite a few things since Endigo returned from having been captured and taken to the pound. Now that her thoughts were gathered, she had a few things to ask of her Alpha. She approached him quietly and cautiously, clearing her throat lightly to get his attention. "Um, Endigo..? I was wondering something..." she said meekly, hoping she was not disturbing him.

Name: Spirit
Gender: Female
Age: 3 years
Pack: Jargoan pack. But loner for now I'll join it soon
Rank: packmate?
Mate: None
Breed: White German shepherd x
Personality: Strong, fast, agile, smart and protective. Spirit would be the first one to plan an attack and wont hesitate to protect her home and pack. She respects more dominate dogs from her pack though as fierce as she seems.
History: Was bred from a bloodline of champion fighting dogs but escaped her cruel fate one day while training and traveled long distances looking for a safe haven. She would never trust another human after being bashed, kicked and taken away from her mother when she was only a pup. Since then, Spirit has lived solo, avoiding confrontations with big packs but also dominating over other lone dogs and small packs.
