((That's what I was going for.

A little taken aback, Faith held her composure and tried not to appear threatened. "Just passing through," she replied rather sternly. "Taj and I are. We're just looking for a place to call home."

Swampson raised a brow at her, looking impatiently between her and Endigo as he waited to hear about his daughter.
Endigo nodded. "I'll alert the pack to let them know you're just passing through; you can travel safely." Then he looked at Swampson. "Would you like to see your daughter?" he asked gently.

"Good. I have to tell you something, but I'd rather show you. Bring the pups and come with me." Rex said mysteriously, grinnong and leading her out of the den.
Melanie got to her feet, her brow furrowed in suspicion.

"Daddy? Where are we going?!" Flag yowled, and scampered behind his father. "Yeah Papa! Where are we going?" Paisley yipped, tagging along behind him. Smokey's eyes were lit up, but he remained quiet, and trotted lightly behind his father.

"Well, to join your pack. Yes, I know we probably smell like Negro pack, I was helping Melanie with her pups" Hollyleap said. "And Stone here got into a fight with that big dog, Delano, over his treatment of Layla" she said, sitting
"You---" Endigo getsured to Hollyleap--- "Freed some of the dogs in the pound." He grinned. "You have a good heart. You are welcome in my pack." Endigo looked at Stone. "You seem to be a good fellow, too."

"Don't worry about it..." Rex said. He smiled at Melanie and winked.

Jargo howled for Harli.

Faith smiled. "Thank you for your generosity," she replied, dipping her head a bit.

Swampson was watching Faith boredly as she spoke, though when he registered what Endigo had said, he quickly turned to face him. "Well, yeah! 'Would I like to see my daughter'!" he said, though he resisted rolling his eyes. He limped toward Endigo, pausing to wait for him to lead the way.

Endigo nodded to Faith, letting her know that she was free to go. Then he led the way to the den where Sonya was. "Come on, Mr. Grumpy Gills; if you want to see your daughter, you're gonna have to keep up." he grinned.
