Quote: Rex snarled at Grimm. "Who are you?" he growled. "Why have you come here?" his expression was dark and serious. His thoughts wandered to Snowy, and he heard Daisy yelp, "Daddy, Daisy's awake and she's bleeding again!"

Endigo barked to Mystery, "No, run, Mystery! I know you aren't bad at heart; I've seen you! Now run! That's an order!"

Quote: Harli sat down, her eyes slowly losing their glow of hatred. No, no, NO! Don't feel sorry for this mutt!! NO! All he's ever done is humiliate you, and horde his lovely territory that you've wanted so badly!! DON'T. FEEL. SORRY. FOR. HIIM! The tiny voice in her head screamed. It's voice rose high and clear, screaming through out her brain. Closing her eyes, as if in pain, she fought her emotions. The seconds slipped by. Slowly, slowly. She might lose her chance of delivering the fatal bite... but still, she battled the voices inside.

Jargo stopped his merciless mauling and looked at Harli. "What do you think, Harli? Should we-" he slammed Endigo's head into the ground-"finish him off here, or dump him in the Loner Lands to die a humiliating death in front of the loners? I personally like the Loner death idea..."

Quote: Harli's short tail twitched, her eyes remaining closed. HARLI! COM'ON! IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD! The voice screamed. Panting Harli snapped her eyes open. Her face was pale with exhaustion, but she nodded. "Yes.. Jargo." She breathed, nodding her head slightly.

Grim dared to look up, keeping his head low. "Grimm. I'm looking for a second chance," he said simply.

He perked up when he heard a she-dog say something about bleeding. Grimm had not practiced medicine since joining the Jargoans. He was rusty on quite a few things, but... His gaze moved back to Rex. "I can help." Those three words were spoken with sincerity and hope, though his expression didn't change to match them.

Mystery stopped, shaken by the statement that Endigo had made. Out of everything... He had his brother... And he had an Alpha that trusted him... Mystery shook his head. "No can do, sir," he replied with a smile. Then, he let that smile slip away and snarled to the Jargoan dogs. "Over my dead body!"

Teal sighed impatiently and joined his brother at last, standing there with a threatening pose and a bored look on his face.

Jargo grinned. He grabbed Endigo's scruff, Tarro grabbed another fold, and they waited for Harli.

Harli clamped her jaws on Endigo's scruff weakly, then started walking. She tried to send thoughts to Endigo. You making me weird, you mutt!! Your making me good! I'm NOT GOOD!!!!

(I have plans for Endigo; that's why he told them to go.

Rex bowled him over and yelled in his face, "Can you help her? Do you know how to help her?!" He was clearly rattled by his daughter's yell, and frantic, now.
