Quote: After a few minutes, Harli returned. A sheepish smile on her maw, and her nose a slightly pinker color. "Boy I was dumb." she snorted, sitting down.
(Harli is trouble! LOL!)
Jargo smiled. "You look better," he said.
(Heehee! She's so dumb! XD)
"I don't feel better." she joked, sticking out her tongue.
(XD I can't deny that! XD)
Jargo smiled and sat down. "Well, I think the danger is passed." he said.
(Haha!! LOL!)
Harli nodded, but somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that it wasn't over. "The pups are due any day now." she murmured quietly, looking out of the den.
Jargo smiled. "I can't wait," he murmured softly.
"I know." Harli smiled, looking back at him. She got up, walked towards him and rubbed her head under his chin. "Thanks. Thanks for helping me." she said quietly.
Jargo licked her ear. "Of course; you are my mate. I will always care for you... Always," he replied.
Harli smiled, the 'normal' feeling coming back to her body. "I love you." she then pulled away, rooting around in their nest. "Want to help? The pups will need something soft to sleep on." she smiled, pulling fur from the rabbit Jargo had killed that morning.
Jargo nodded. He gathered a few things together and mused under his breath as he did. "It's a pity we cant have separate rooms for our pups, so that they could have their own spaces every so often," he mused.
Harli heard him say something, but didn't quite make it out. She shrugged slightly, making a small indent in the fluffy nest. It was quite large now, as Harli had added more dry grass and fur to it the day before. She had also spread the picnic blankets over it to cover the pokey grass. "Looks good. What do you think?" she asked, stepping back.
Jargo smiled. "Anything you do looks good, Harli." Jargo said. "That's why we always have perfect pups."
