Layla barked, and flew down the hill, leaping into the river without hesitation. Over her splashes she saw the top of the cage go under water. "Melanie!!" She cried and swam as hard as she could to the spot, diving under the water, grabbing the cage in her mouth, and swimming up. When she came above water, she couldn't get the cage out of water. "Scout!! Scout!!" Layla screamed.

Sonya waited patiently for more food, her tail wagging ever-so-slightly as she did. She tilted her head as she watched the human do something behind his back, though she didn't think much of it.
