Melanie whimpered, "No! I won't leave him!"

Buck snickered, and clamped his jaws on Endigo's scruff.

Harli struggled to breathe. "Jargo, I- I can't breathe!" She wheezed.

"Go! NOW!" Rex snarled.

Endigo hung, limp in Buck's jaws, resigning himself, once again, to his horrible fate.

"Just stay calm!" Jargo soothed.

(Don't you DARE let Harli die!)

Stone ran at Delano, leaping at him.

Delano made a noise of frustration, though as always quiet as can be. He charged after Layla, his massive strides bringing him closer and closer with each bound. His jaws opened as he approached, and he reached out to bite down on her back.

Layla yelped in fright, and burst away; just as Delano's jaws hooked her skin. 

Delano bit down as hard as he could, lifting Layla off the ground and turning to face Stone. His nose wrinkled as he felt Stone ram into him, though he quickly shook it off and began to carry Layla back toward Jargo.

Delano bit down as hard as he could, lifting Layla off the ground and turning to face Stone. His nose wrinkled as he felt Stone ram into him, though he quickly shook it off and began to carry Layla back toward Jargo.

Harli took ragged, short breaths, her body shaking. Her head hurt, and her stomach lurched with pain.

Endigo looked up at Buck. "Are you gonna kill me?" he asked, boredly.

"Please, my dear, do not let go! Just hold on; just a little further, and I can get you to a medical dog." Jargo pleaded with Harli, tears welling in his eyes.

(What on earth does *wink* mean?! She'd better not die, or I'll ban you from the RP!

Stone snarled, leaping at him again.  "Put her down!"

Delano barely flinched when he felt Layla bite his shoulder. His ears fell back upon hearing Stone bark at him, though. Delano did not take orders from anyone but Jargo. A menacing look came over his face as he turned to glare at Stone. He had faced many fights with dogs much more formidable than this one. He was sure even while carrying Layla, that he could take this dog. Using all his strength, he raised up onto two legs and swiped his big paws at Stone's face.

This only made Delano's teeth sink further into Layla's back in fury. He kicked as hard as he could with his hind feet at the dog beneath him, then made a somewhat clumsy roll to one side to get away from Stone, unused to holding onto something while fighting. Taking a moment to catch himself, he ducked his head down and ran at full force toward Stone's side.
