Everest groaned, and kicked out with his paws. ('Tis alright.Rex hung on, sinking his teeth deeper in... (Gaw, I hope you're okay with that!)
Endigo's eyes widened in fear. "Haaahaahaa!" Jargo cackled. "Endigo, meet Buck!" Endigo let go of Harli, and Jargo ran to her. "Oh, my dear, are you okay?" he asked, worrisome.

Layla sprinted past; her sleek body flying over the ground. She looked behind her, fear striking her heart. Delano was after her.Delano lunged for Layla's scruff as she veered right, only to have his jaws close on nothing but air as she feigned the movement. He snarled, whirling to try and tackle her to the ground.

Rex let go, and looked at Everest. "Normally, I would kill you... but I am not the same dog... I have a little mercy inside me. Please, back off. I do not want to kill anymore."Everest groaned, and kicked out with his paws. ('Tis alright.)![]()
Melanie crouched by Banner, "You'll be okay. I promise." She whispered. Banner struggled to breathe. "I'm not worrying about myself. It's you I'm worried about. Don't do that again. Go back to the dens. Now." He wheezed. Melanie shook her head. "Not with you out here. The pups are fine. I am too; you will be alright."
Buck stalked up to Endigo. "That was a good idea. But I have to say you weren't quick enough. Now I have to pound you." He snarled.
Harli staggered away, four puncture holes deep in her throat. Blood spurt out with each breath. "M, hm." He gasped, her eyes huge.
(Teehee!)
Stone ran at Delano, leaping at him.
Layla yelped in fright, and burst away; just as Delano's jaws hooked her skin.Delano made a noise of frustration, though as always quiet as can be. He charged after Layla, his massive strides bringing him closer and closer with each bound. His jaws opened as he approached, and he reached out to bite down on her back.
Melanie whimpered, "No! I won't leave him!"Rex let go, and looked at Everest. "Normally, I would kill you... but I am not the same dog... I have a little mercy inside me. Please, back off. I do not want to kill anymore."
"Melanie! Go back to the dens. NOW!" Rex snapped. "You're not safe here!"
Endigo moaned in annoyance, then leaped to his feet to face his new enemy.
"Buck..." Jargo said. "Let him be..." Endigo looked at Jargo. Did his rival have some sympathy for him? "I want him alive." Jargo said.
Then, Jargo let Harli lean on him. "Rex, Banner, Buck: bring Endigo back to the dens. I must tend to my mate!"
"Come, Harli. We must get back to the dens; you need care." he said, licking her.
