All she found was a bit of old fish, and it smelled horribly, but she hadn't eaten in days and couldn't find anything else. Hesitantly, she began to eat it.

Lane barked at her,

"Should we kill him now?" Scar asked

Layla gasped. She couldn't believe her alpha was doing this! "No!" She screamed, and launched herself at Scar. "You mouse brained fools!" She howled, and snapped her jaws aiming for Scar's face.

Jargo grinned at Dixie... "We kill him? No. We'll send Dixie!" and he growled at Dixie. "If you really want to stay here, kill Endigo---away from the den, please---kill Endigo, throw his body in the river, and bring me a tuft of his fur!" he said to Dixie.

"I'll kill him," Sedna offered.

Senkah quickly dropped the fish and ran away

Layla gasped. She couldn't believe her alpha was doing this! "No!" She screamed, and launched herself at Scar. "You mouse brained fools!" She howled, and snapped her jaws aiming for Scar's face.

"What are you doing?!" Scar growled and whispered to her "Its him or us!"

Dixie felt different inside as she plodded, depressed, down the steps that led up to the building. She had never had a problem with killing a dog. Why had she changed? Was it because Endigo cared so much for his mate? She didn't know. All she knew was she wanted to stay with Negro Pack, which meant killing Endigo. No problem, right? She thought.

Senkah quickly dropped the fish and ran away

Lane ran over and sniffed the fish
"Yuck!" He said and laid down

"What are you doing?!" Scar growled and whispered to her "Its him or us!"

Layla's eyes filled with fear and confusion. "No, please, don't!" She sobbed. Her mate had been killed just the same way, and now, even though Endigo was not her mate, she couldn't bear to see it happen again.

Jargo growled. "We seem to disagree a lot, Layla. Maybe you should help Dixie kill him? Shut up and face the fact that death is a part of reigning!"
