Endigo saw the fur, and he fell to the ground, sobbing. Jargo smirked. Endigo had taken the bait.

"She told me to tell you she loved you---right before Scar killed her." Jargo said, dragging Scar by the ear, right up to Endigo. "However, she did mutter something about how..." Jargo looked Endigo in the eyes, "About how she thought you would 'always be there to save her.' I guess she was wrong... how sad." Jargo said, turning, and walking back into the den.

Hm, well alright then...?

Senkah lay down on a bench, but a human came along. "Come on, get off!" He shouted at her. Senkah whimpered and jumped off, scurrying away into a dark alley. "Useless stray," the human muttered. Senkah got into some garbage cans to look for food.

Endigo sobbed and lay there, his head curled lovingly around the fur. Dixie looked down at him. "Jargo," she said in a voice that no longer sounded raspy, but soft, and caring, "He really believes she is dead, and it's not funny anymore." Jargo growled, "It's not supposed to be funny, he is supposed to believe she's dead, you idiot!"

All she found was a bit of old fish, and it smelled horribly, but she hadn't eaten in days and couldn't find anything else. Hesitantly, she began to eat it.

Jargo grinned at Dixie... "We kill him? No. We'll send Dixie!" and he growled at Dixie. "If you really want to stay here, kill Endigo---away from the den, please---kill Endigo, throw his body in the river, and bring me a tuft of his fur!" he said to Dixie.
