Jargo stopped at Golden Pack's border, and snarled viciously "I'LL GET YOU, LAYLA! AND MELANIE, TOO!"

Mutt saw her smile, and, not wanting to be rude and smother her kind gesture, he nodded and smiled back at her. 

Sonya nodded back, then sighed and turned away. She circled at the back corner of her cage, then laid down to wait for night to come.

Layla didn't stop. She rushed toward the cage, and gnawed viciously on the sticks.

Scout took one of the sticks and tore it from the cage. A little opening was made

Blue snickered under his breath as he entered Negro pack territory. He and several other dogs began marking some of the territory as their own.

Jargo raised his head. He had been so distracted with Layla that he hadn't realized that Blue was in his property. Now Jargo was fuming. He ran back to the territory, snarling. He lunged at Blue, snarling.

Blue snarled with a smirk, jumping out of the way but getting a large scratch on his shoulder. He towered over Jargo, "you're late, old man! We've already taken about an eighth of your territory! Sorry," he said with a fake apologetic smile, but it was clearly sarcastic.

(Blue is a mix of all breeds of dogs, but is mostly beauceron/great dane.)
