Banner snarled at Jargo as he walked out. "I don't care about a bet. I will kill him."
 
Rex came to his side, and nuzzled his friend affectionately. "You deserve better than this... you shouldn't be in the situation that you're in now, but that brute is stronger than you, and always will be... Come one. You need your rest."

Banner snarled. "I don't want to rest." He tried to get to his feet.

Rex helped him up, then went to the thresh hold of the den and said, "I'm gonna go hunting. It looks like Jargo isn't gonna give you any trouble. Just howl if you need me." and with that, he leaped out of the den and trotted away.

Banner watched his friend go, thankful that he had such a great friend.

Rex gasped as he saw the creepy Temptress gliding towards him. He began to increase the pace of his gait, but she caught up with him. Curving gracefully in front of him, she purred "Hello... I'm Lana... mmm-what's your name?" (Notice the mmm in that word?)

"R-R-Rex..." Rex stuttered, falling under the Temptress's spell. "Rex... how original..." Lana said, a hint of disdain in her flirty voice. She wrapped her tail around the back of Rex's head, curved her body around him, and stared at him with her beautiful blue eyes. "You know... I was wondering about your wounded friend... Banner... Yes, that's his name... what does he think of Jargo?" she asked. Rex replied, nervous. "Well, he..." suddenly, he realized the Temptress's plan. He bit her sharply on the muzzle and snarled "I wouldn't betray my friend for you!" and ran away before she could get her footing and catch up.
