Melanie shuddered with horror. "NO! Jargo, please!! I beg you!! NO!" Melanie cried, her eyes pleading, curling her body around her pups.
"SHUT UP!" Harli shrieked. "I'VE ENOUGH OF YOUR BEGGING! YOU KNEW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU BECAME MATES WITH BANNER!!"

Jargo sneered at Melanie. "Why should I not kill them? If they are of Banner, then surely they will be just as rebelious as he was... and neither me nor Harli want that kind of nuisance." He leaned down and closed his jaws around one of the pups, lifting it from it's mother's side. It squealed and mewed, unaware of what was fixing to happen.

(Gotta go. This oughta leave you hanging. *Insert evil laugh here.*)

(AHHHH!! Your gonna drive me crazy!!! Come back soon PLEASE!!)

Melanie lunged at Jargo, but fell to the ground as another pain ripped through her body. "Please Jargo, I beg you. Let them live. Kill me! Harli please! These are my pups! What would you feel like?!" She shrieked, staring painfully into Harli's cold eyes. Amazingly though, they softened. "Please Jargo. Put down the pup. Don't kill it. Kill Melanie." She turned, and walked from the den.
Melanie turned her gaze to Jargo. Her, and her pup's lives were in his jaws, and she could do nothing to stop him. Oh Banner, She thought, tears falling to the ground. I wish you were here.

"Now, I've already explained my reason as to why I simply must kill these pups: they have Banner's traitorous blood in them..." suddenly, he froze. His eyes rested on one black puppy: it looked just like Banner. He mercilessly dropped the pup he held in his jaws, letting it land on the floor of the cave, while he lunged for the black pup. "And I'll start with Banner's son!" he roared, his red eyes glittering with a murderous look in them. He snatched the pup up, and held it before Melanie. "Harli: make her watch the death of her pup. As punishment, she will watch the death of her only connetcion to her love..."

Harli looked at Jargo, then at Melanie. The cold gleam in her eyes returned. She had never liked Banner.

"JARGO!! PLEASE!!!!" Melanie screamed, her voice echoing through the cave.

Layla burst into tears. "Rex!! We have to do something!!!!"

"Now, how shall I kill this creature? Shall I dismember it? Maybe bite down so that my jaws can puncture it's body? Or shall I let it get snatched up by some coyote?" Jargo mused, taunting Melanie.

"You're right, Layla... but how can we beat them? Melanie is in no condition to run?" Rex said, scared. He didn't want Jargo to kill those inoccent pups or Melanie. Suddenly, he had an idea. "Follow me." he said.

(I have to go again. I'll only be gone for about 10-20 minutes; PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't go offline!)
