Dixie stared in horror, then she howled with rage, "They are going to pay for this!" she turned and marched into Everest's den.

"EVEREST!" she bellowed.

Everest padded from his den; "Yes? What's wrong?!"

"Indigo Pack have killed Black Magic and Lightning!" Sedna cried.

"You have been placed by Endigo as temporary Alpha, and so far, Indigo Pack has killed two members!" Dixie screeched. Then she started sobbing: they were my friends, Lightning and Black Magic."

Groggily, a dog opened her eyes as she heard twoleg voices.

"Is she going to be alright?"

"It's hard to say at this point. Her internals are badly damaged. But we'll do our best."

Not really caring about the conversation and too tired to listen anymore, the dog closed her eyes again.

Jargo simply said to Harli, "Get the pup from Stone."

Harli advanced, her lip curled. "Give me that pup."


Melanie howled in pain, and fear. She desperately wanted to help her pups, but was in no position to do so.
