Survived dog, but what now?

My dog ate on my favorite chicken. He plucked most of her backside and ate her skin. She is eating, drinking, pooping, and bless her heart, even laying eggs. The wound is scabbing and looks clear of infection. However, I noticed a small green area on the skin on her leg that the skin above was eaten off of. I am not sure if it is gangrene and do not know if I should just euthanize her or keep waiting to see if she will heal well enough to rejoin the flock. Please advise.
