Surviving Minnesota!

My sis did talk to the neighbors. They did not see her...but they had seen foot prints they said. My Sister kind of blew it off though...thinking they saw goose prints or something. LOL. When they were searching they asked. I think it's a plain miracle she's back. Usually those situations end poorly. I think that little miracle happened for a reason today, though. And I'm thankful for that....

Thank you Memphis. I'm bummed too. Gosh he was neat and what he did for us....well. I know there will be Roosters coming up the line...but he just knew his way around and would call out those Eagle fly overs in great timing. So so valuable to me. We're doing okay though. Better than I thought I would.

I have a questions on LF blue cochin genetics?

If you breed a Blue hen x Blue Frizzle Rooster
What are the color outcomes and frizzle outcomes?

Good news. Daisy, my sisters white bantam turned up. Alive! Just as she was driving in with Viola a replacement from Minnie! Lol. Figures.

Sad news. My big beautiful orange rooster. My NH. Roger. Found dead this morning below the roost. I think the cough and sneeze was that chronic air sac disease. He was a gorgeous boy that took such fine care of his girls. I will miss him greatly. Oh my Big tootsie....
