The morning is starting great. I saw two puffballs growing in the front yard. Which are now in the house.

Sharing a laptop is like sharing a toothbrush, we never do it. If one of ours breaks the one with the broken one ends up on the old desk top one or on the iPhone.

Sharing a laptop with your wife is truly a sign of deep love, I can't imagine doing it myself.

Well her other computer quit and she never had it repaired . She may come home today with a cheapo IDK . So I am currently unsupervised . Deep love yes . I did sign up for life .

I didn't win someone beat me to it because I was reading posts also.

I saw what I think you call puffballs out by my garden, one has bursted. I would be afraid to eat them.

My parents said that they will butcher the roosters and we'll go to the auction with the coop instead.
My dad might let me get some chicks for over the winter

he mentioned it today as I was getting on the bus, now I have to find a hatchery that has White Leghorns and Buff Rocks. Next spring I'm getting some Whiting True Blues and BCMs

I have not been happy with chicks I've raised through winter, they just don't grow as good as they should. I think it is lack of sunlight. They aren't sickly or anything like that, they just seem to grow very slowly and just don't seem as robust and active as summertime chicks. Just my opinion, don't take it as fact. They may do just fine for you.

I've raised chicks through the winter also found the same thing, they were very small for their age, now they're just about full grown.. I would prefer them to be at least 1 month by November 1st though so they get as much sun as possible for the first month. I'm thinking of getting BCMs and Buff Rocks now instead of leghorns and Buff Rocks cause the leghorns being so young I'm not sure how they would do..

Good morning all. What is the temperment of dominique. I love the look of my barred rock but they are bossy and demanding. They will peck at my legs if I don't bring them treats.

As a buyer from ralphie I stand next to him and applaude his quality birds. Sweetie is at 15 for 16 eggs. And perfect health and temperment.
