Morning. Going to take the day off . Going visiting wife's relatives . I mounted some cheap tires on my wagon running gear yesterday . I turned it into a firewood hauler last year . Too frugal to buy new for something I never take on the road . Friend has a really old manual tire changer . So I put on a couple of used truck tires . Paid $10 each at the salvage yard for them . I have a manual tire changer from Harbor Freight but it can not handle bead breaking on really tough old rims . Had to beef it up a little also . Got to start loading the trailer this week for my trip .

Have you ever taken an advanced Stats class? I am of reasonable intelligence and spent the entire quarter lost in space somewhere as did 98.3% of the class. The 2.134% of the class that did pass were teachers pets or paying her under the table. I think they were passing her drugs myself. I am 89.32451% sure on this. To carry the decimal point out further would in non-significant.


BTW of all the classes I took, English was 143% more important in my life than the stats classes were.

Hey Ralphie, nice to meet you there. Sorry I didn't get to visit, I was having brake problems on my van and trying to find a garage that was open on a Saturday was terrible. You would think that a town as big as Hutch would have something, I had to take it down to Glenco. By the time I got it fixed and got back, everyone was gone.
I was really surprised at the small turnout, I think that was the smallest swap there that I've ever attended. Usually it's full to the back. I think alot of people went to the Waverly swap instead (we went to both). My sister did sell a few young peafowl and some chickens but not a whole lot, really slow on selling anything.

Now I know where you went. I went looking for you a couple times and never saw you anywhere. I figured you had eaten some bad sushi and was hiding in the ladies room.


Good to hear that was a small turn out. I was disappointed in the number of people buying. I sold a few birds but not many and not for the price I wanted. I saw way more sellers than buyers.

I also noticed the main sellers were little kids and young girls (late teens to early 20's). I have already asked my Granddaughter to come with me to the next sale.

I am having her learn the script " Grandpa won't let me keep my chickens any longer, he says I have to sell them or he is going to butcher them. Please save my chickens!"

I should make a killing!

Good morning all...another skunk. This time he was lured into live trap. Yet again my father in law bailed me out. This time it will cost me....1 apple crisp. I like how he charges.

Morning . Well yesterday I came back with about 3 quarts of persimmon fruit . They are not common here but are in southern IL . Deer love the fruit . I have some seedling trees and will plant more seed from these . I may try persimmon bread or cookies with the fruit .
