Surviving Minnesota!

20 chicks hatched from the 22 eggs that went into lockdown. One was a late quitter and the other was an early quitter - that must have been the stinky egg. Not sure how I missed it. I also don't know what any of these little ones are aside from the obvious EE's. I was told pure stock, but I don't think so. The one is a Showgirl. I know that much. First time seeing one!

You take great pictures, just wait until Holm is your BIL, the pictures the two of you take will be award winning!

I assume Kloppers is in tax time work now. Rhett ad Misty have not been on in ages.

Beautiful pics and cute chicks!

I got some pretty nice apple and Pear trees from that place on the corner of 47 and 95 between Princeton and Cambridge. 8-9 feet tall and pretty decent root balls.

There's a few places out that way - was it Meyer's? I've been getting most of my fruit trees from the Green Barn in Isanti. I need to get a few more started weeping willows this Spring from them as well. I did buy a bunch of Oaks and Maples 75%-95% off at Fleet Farm last Fall to fill in where we're losing trees. You can't beat buying a 9ft+ tree for that cheap, but I also didn't care too much what I bought.

Tell her Ralphie. Coffee is not bad for you but is the life blood of civilized existence.
Do you have any new chicks today Ralphie ?

My cousin tried telling me Coffee is bad for you. My face looked something like this:

good morning people

-12 here this morning but a big warm up coming tomorrow!

Brrrrrrrrrr. My poop boards need a good warm up.

BC this video should convince you to get Guineas. Look how calm they are? This dumby got in the back half of the coop and I needed to get him out so I could leave but he would not go out the door!

Ralphie have you noticed Guineas lose feathers really easily?

Me... Pick me.... I've noticed that. When I was grabbing those birds for deportation they seemed to lose enough to fill a pillow with!
