The day is not going well, I lost electric about 15-20 minutes ago. The house s dropping temps fast.

In 15 minutes or so I need to start loading chicks into shipping boxes and movin them to the van

Maybe sooner,

What's up with the electricity at your house Ralphie? Crazy.

We are blessed with a good electric company and buried lines. We are on the northern edge of Crow Wing Power. North of town just a few minutes it is Lake Country Power and they are days upon days to get power up after a storm.

I am guessing this is aftermath from the Tornado. The power came on for about. 3 minutes and went off again. I see power company trucks going both directions on the highway so wh knows what is happening..

I went and check the chicks to move them, but they are all cozied up to each other and not making a sound. For right now I will leave them be until they start to act cold. I think moving them and breaking the huddle would be worse on them than leaving them if this does not go on too long.

LOL! The garden tilled? I do agree with what you are saying Ralphie. And I am busy also. Have you run into the guy that has that 8:00 tee time and needs to get their vehicle in and out for service? Then they have 50 questions about the servicing while there are five professionals that need to get to the office for their 8:00 meeting? I mean - do you get my point? Hasn't anyone else ever encountered this? Like the time the next door neighbor rang my doorbell at 7 in the morning and literally yelled at me because mother nature was blowing my leaves in his yard. I am leaving at 7 and home around 7 during the week and he cares about the leaves. Hmmmmmm.
