Surviving Minnesota!

Ok Cluckies also going for double secret probation. Rofl.

I'm rereading and Jerry I don't think we have a Tom Sawyer thing going as I thought with Ed and Ralphie. Looks like wood-lifting actually would have a different meaning for them. Lol. Ok. Note to self less tea, no mikes and peaches. Ivie you are still welcome with pulled pork.

I do have my coffee Sunday girls but we have not met much this year. Perhaps we needed a break. Lol. But they understand me and get my ways. And yes we normalize our life with men stories and sort out the crap which is quite normal we realize after.

Well I have decided it's time to get a job lol. I have spent $600 dollars at L&M and my account is low lol. Now to find a job :p

Holm do you think L & M would get you 50% off purchases if you're an employee ... and know how to do the splits?

I feel for ya though Holm, the splits are nooooo good!

The problem with working somewhere that you like to buy stuff from, is that you spend all your money buying stuff. My brother in law ran into this when he got a part time job a Cabelas, and spent more than he made. My sister finally made him quit! (women)

Let it be known that I for obvious reasons am a proponent of equal pay in the work place. And I do not believe in cutting other women down. I just call a spade a spade. And I don't knit ugly pink stupid hats.

Oops looks like I'm walking probation lines with Banty and Erli. Lol.

Join the club

I can't resist but to add my 2 cents this morning! Whole Hearted Agreed....would rather work with men....or at least country women. They seem to understand the value of TEAMWORK and HARD WORK.

As for the drama queens....I need to squash one. I just received a call from my 12 year old daughter...she was all out sobbing.

DD: "Mom, You are not going to believe this....just remember I take really good care of my chickens and I love them....but Mom one of my Yokkies (yokkahamas) died."

Me: "It's really ok....this is just nature's way of culling the weak, and if it was a male, it is for the best anyway...."

DD: "It was a male, the scrawny one. I just wanted to prove to you that during spring break I could care for the chickens all by myself so you could have a break from all the chores. I guess I am not as good as you."

Me: "Wrong....you are better than me...you can calm a rooster in 2 meetings flat. Plus this week's weather is not on your side."

DD: "Ok - I will give it a proper creamation and call it good."

Me: "NOOO....Unless your Grandpa helps you, you are not allowed to use the torch to start a fire in the incinerater while home alone."

I do not believe in equal pay, I believe you should be paid what you are worth. If some dude works more, harder, better, whatever, than me, he should get paid more. If I work harder, better, whatever, than him, I should get paid more. They should start at the same pay for the same level and the same experience, However, the BS where everybody gets the same pay raise, no matter if they are a load, or if they work hard, really turns my crank.

Luckily, my work gives raises by work, not by gender.

Does this make sense?
