Good morning.
One year I grew sweet potatoes here, they were scrawny little things. I heard if you cover the ground with black plastic to warm the ground you have a better yield.

I was afraid of that,,,You could have stretched the truth a tad and said they were about 3 pounds each,,,

same scenario going on here. .this one has been in the bucket all day sitting on one lonely egg. I stole all her eggs for my incubator. .
There were two eggs in another bucket next to her from yesterday and today. . so I stole them and stuck them under her too.View attachment 1300815

How thoughtful this little DUX is...she is already inside a plastic bucket. All you need to do is put the cover on the bucket and empty a can of starting fluid----- and PRESTO -----you instantly have a good DUX!

Yesterday’s project was to give all the chicks a 4 way shuffle, som pens were crowded some were under capacity. The younger they were the better the got along with their new “roomies”.

The lone chick pictures are pictures of our rare exotic bird from Murray McMurray, we believe Sicilian buttercup cockerel. My husband and daughter have given him the world because “he is royalty just loook at his comb it is a crown, and not to mention he is from the Mediterranean class....nobody shows Mediterranean birds at the Benton county fair.” Anyone want animal loving daughter....

Sounds like she justifies animals the same way I do. Our house can only have one of those. But she has good points!
