Surviving Minnesota!

Thanks Ralphie. All the fluid was in her jaw and dropped down to her brisket. Once that happened weknew it was Hardware and figured it was to late. BUT we tried!

Hey duck people, as I was cleaning my dogs kiddy pool I thought how cool it would be to have two cute little ducks swimming in it:)
Is there a breed of duck that I could get that I could keep for the summer and it would fly away in the fall?
For next year!

I suggest 4 rubber duckys. They will eat very little, poop less and can go into the basement in the winter with no fuss. Also non-duck people would not look down their noses at you.

If hatcheries have them it's not illegal I'd guess!!??

You need to get a game farm license in MN to have them. It is not a big deal to get. I think they frown on you letting them go to mix with wild ducks unless they are from wild stock or some silly thing.....But then their ducks so who really cares...

Can I make a suggestion Erli? Raise 2-3 female Pekins. They would easily bring $50-$60 in the fall. At least they would here. I sold breeding yearlings for $20.00 a piece in 1 day. Just a suggestion!

Could I count on you to take them off my hands in the fall?
