Ralphie if I didn't have all these other family members with I would make time for it. But they have their own ideas and schedules to keep.

We stopped at chipotle in St Cloud for supper and unfortunately we were behind a little league team. An hour and 40 minutes later we got out there. My gosh there was a line out the door though the whole night. Kids loved it though.

Jerry, have you lost any more chickens to those raccoons?

I haven't had that problem thank goodness, but so far I've trapped 4 adult mice and found a nest this week in my run, my guess there is more out there

Morning . One less coon . That is 5 and there were 2 more sets of eyes in that tree . Yes I really did knock one out of the tree .

Ralphie here is a taming trick for roosters . When handling them stroke down the back to the tail . They like that .

I find that makes them a little more frisky with the ladies after watching AI videos

My boys often like their wattles stroked, and I rub up under their "chin" between the wattles too. Some birds just take longer than others to adjust to handling and cages. I had a Welsummer cockerel at the last Hutch show who tore his tail all up because he wasn't liking the cages.

Edit: I just answer as I go most times, but I see Holm said the same as I did.

Cripes, they're is a skunk in the yard! It came around the henhouse as I was walking up to the henhouse. I was only 10 feet from it. Don't know what to do now... (I ran away) i shut on the outside light, hoping to scare it off...
