Surviving Minnesota!

We don't even use a barn for our cows. Our cows calve out in a corral and have a wind break and that's it. They are really tough animals and do just fine in 10 degrees!

What do they do when it's -30 or a blizzard. I'm too soft I'd want them to have a barn.

Yep. The only time our bulls and horses get the barn is when its going to hail, even then they don't go in it half the time

Can't wait til I graduate and move out to my grandparents! They have such a well established ranch, with such nice corrals and an amazing calving pasture that is full of cleared tree wind breaks, along with 4 barns for the calves to go in cause of the wind in the winter.
Also they have a great chicken coop, and a really good area where I could build breeder coops!

They stand behind a tree lol Ours are still spoiled rotten. If they have good hay they stay plenty warm! For just a few I could see how a barn would come in handy!

Well, I now only own one house. And I'm temporarily quite wealthy. Feels good!

Starting Monday I'm going to start bleeding cash... Student loans, small car loan, garage building bills.... After that what's left is house building money!!
